"Camano Island's Genevieve"
Hello Susan and Vince;
Yes please use my email and pics on your website. Don is working on a website for Carma Catahoulas, could we use some pics of Ginny when she was a puppy and her parents. Your dogs are beautiful and Ginny is a fine example. She is well mannered. So gentle and loving. That kinda stuff just doesn't happen it comes from her surroundings and owners.
Well a little about Gin. She loves being with people. If I am out in the yard, she is by my side. Just yesterday I was pulling weeds and she kept wanting to be in my face right in the dirt so I shooed her away so she laid down beside me as I worked. When I read stories to Veronica at night before she goes to sleep, Ginny is right there laying beside her in bed listening to the story too. When I am taking the garbage out she is right by my side, even when I was mowing the lawn she was 4 feet away on the driveway watching every move and not being scared of lawn mower at all. She is getting much better around strangers and different kids around here. She comes when she is called, even off leash at the lake etc. She is sitting on command, eats real well. Loves Carma, is keeping her hopping. Ginny does cartwheels over all other dogs, she is fast and agile. I love her deep bark, and everyday I get home she greets me at the gate and is so very happy to see us. She loves to sleep right beside you and is very cuddly. Don is looking forward to taking her to the dog park this weekend, since with Caiman we haven't been since he was a pup.
I am sending a few pics of Ginny laying around. My buddy has a few
good pics of Gin last weekend that I will forward soon. We had a
haunted house up at the lodge at our campsite so I was very busy with that
last weekend, Don and our friend took the dogs out. He has a dog
too and they all got along so well. It was funny cause when he got
to our site he was looking at Gin to say " what did they do to
you Caiman....they have starved you and cut off your male parts.
Anyway we love her dearly, she is getting along so well with all around
here. She is a real part of our family.
Can't wait to see Sammy's pups.
How is Skeeter doing now?
Anyway talk to ya soon. Take good care.
So what's wrong with this picture....dogs on the couch...kids on the floor.
They are so spoiled..ha ha Teresa and Don-Canada
...Ginny bravely jumped into the lake, we missed the picture but couldn't
believe how bold she was! She loved it!!! We did get a pic of her swimming
and having a great time!
Happy Halloween!! From Carma Catahoulas

"Camano Island's Porter"
Hi Susan,
Well, I should start by saying that Shawn and I could not have been any
happier with our decision to purchase a puppy from you. Porter is
more like a member of our family than anything else. I'll admit that
since he is my very first dog I go a little over board (or at least Shawn
thinks I do), but I can't help myself. He is just so super cute,
and amazes us everyday. He trully is one of a kind. So yes,
he is a bit spoiled, but has good structure and routine. Porter is
very well behaved, which shocks most people. We like to take him running
with us, and he really enjoys rock climbing at a state park near us.
He is incredibly fast, and built very strong. Not too long ago he
developed what I will atempt to spell as a histiocytoma, a growth on his
hind leg. Nothing major, but because of the location we had it removed
in case in were to get larger it would have become very difficult to remove.
Aside from that he has been very healthy. Hope to hear from you soon,
and more photos will follow! Thanks again, for the best gift ever!
We love him.
Emily & Shawn - Nevada

"Camano Island's Maggie"
Maggie has been a great addition to our family.
She has been on several cattle drives and keeps our 7 year old boy well
entertained. I just got back from gathering and shipping cattle for my cousin
in the Okanogan, she is working cattle better everytime we go and I'm learning
more about how she works. Maggie really wants to work the working chute when we
are vaccinating and shipping cattle. It's a learning process for me too because
they work so much different than a heeling cow dog would. The one thing I have
to watch is when she gets on a deer trail, she wants to chase them and that is
not acceptable. She got in trouble for that but otherwise is doing very well.
She is a very fun dog to be around and she is good around other dogs. If you
have any other questions feel free to e-mail. I am sending you some pictures
and I will send some better once when I download the new ones. We love her and
wouldn't give her up for anything.
Thanks Geral & Laurie- Yakima, WA

Camano Island's Wally
Hi Susan, The puppy is great, we call her Wally. We are not in Canada any
longer though. We have moved to Texas of all places. I had been in Canada
about three weeks with her when my sister and parents said they needed
help and asked if I could make the move. I almost called you back to see
about if you could find another home for her but as you can guess I already
couldn't part with her. So she made the drive with me and did wonderful.
The only thing that I can't seem to get her to do is answer to the come
command. My parents think that this is the funniest thing ever but seeing
as how she was so easy to train in every other command it is driving me
crazy. I will try to find my disc with some pictures on it. I think my
niece has them. Any way let me know when you have the pictures on the computer
to look at. Jennifer S.-Texas

"Camano Island's Rocco"
Hi! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. My son broke his
arm on Monday so its been a little crazy. Rocco has only become an even
better dog. He follows my son up and down the swing set and never leaves
the yard. Everyone falls in love with him immediately. He is such a lover.
Sometimes we think that he thinks he is a little teacup dog because he'll
come right in our laps on the couch. We are taking him on a pig hunting
camping trip this weekend, but not to hunt, we don't want him to get hurt
and he probably wouldn't hurt a fly! He is a very gentle and loving dog
and he is protective of the kids. Of course you can use the pictures. It
would take me awhile to get some smaller ones because I don't know how
to do it and I will have to find someone else to do it. But when I do,
I will send you some to see how BIG he is.
"He is so smart already. He can sit and lay down and sits in the kitchen
while we are eating. He loves a treat for doing well. Anyway, I will keep
you posted on his weight, I have a feeling he will be huge!" Thanks,
Tiffany-So.California

"Camano Island's Bo"
I am sending some pictures of our dog Bo . We got him from you Last
January. he is already about 26'' at the withers and I think weighs
about 80
pounds. He is beautiful, good natured, affectionate and a good
guard dog.
I hope you are all doing well .
Your web page is looking
good.
Michie L. -Washington

"Camano Island's Lucy"
Hi Susan, I'll have to learn how to set the pics up on the comp. Lucy has
done a complete turn around!!!! We didn't take her to obedience classes,
because by the time we were scheduled she popped out of her bad habits..
at just about a year and a half she just stopped misbehaving... she has
her occasional chewing on the tissue boxes but that's it... or if we leave
food on the kitchen counter its fair game to her... like steak we step
out to thaw...but I'm just so happy that she's a good girl now... I have
really cute pics. I can send to you... Talk to you soon - Shawna
and Jeromie.-Whidbey Island, Wa.

"Camano Island's Cali"
Hi Susan,
I am the one who adopted Cali from the woman in Oregon. You had asked for
photos and I don't think I ever sent them to you. Cali is just wonderful.
She weighs about 44 pounds now and is doing really well. She 'graduated'
from Obedience I last week and is learning quickly. At least, she learns
quickly when I take the time to work with her consistently :=). She is
a great little family dog and we are really pleased with her. As you can
see from her photos she is beautiful too, and only a little spoiled.
Thanks for your help and for getting us set up with Cali. We love her she
seems very happy with us too.
No problem using us on your web site. Cali is doing really well. After a particularly frustrating patch she is doing really well on the leash now, she is very good at walking with a loose leash. We are doggy sitting for some friends so she has 3 companions for the next few weeks and is having lots of fun playing and being taught proper manners by the older dogs. We start another ten week training course next week and I have high hopes for her continued progress. When I get a little more time I will send more photos.
Cassie, Washington State

"Camano Island's Jolie Rouge"
Hey Susan...This is the last day until the 7th of February that I will be on the Internet, due to the move and all. So I wanted to get some pictures of her out to you A.S.A.P. We are going on the first of the month to get her shots and her micro-chip. So I'm pretty excited about that. She's a mommas girl for sure...I guess cuz I was her knight in shining armor at the airport. If you examine the pix closely you will see that I painted her nails with red polish....Too adorable. We all love her sleek coat, we can't stop petting her. We love her so much, and I want to thank you for everything. She's more dominant than Beaux though, and it shows....TOO FUNNY. Finally someone who will be equal, (if not bigger than his size) to set him straight. She barks already at someone who's knocking or ringing the door bell. Her protective instinct is kicking in a lot faster than I thought it would, but who am I to complain. :-P
Well I have to get...I just wanted to send you some pictures of her, so you
can see for yourself how she's doing here. She's being pampered as well as
spoiled. What can I say? She's my lil princess!
God Bless & Take Care
~Tabitha
How are things? As soon as I down load the new pics I took of Jolie playing
out in the yard, I will send them to you. I love the new updated page on
your site....Everyone is either looking so handsome or so gorgeous...and
to see my baby girl on there makes me smile from ear to ear. Hope all is
well...sorry so short, but I gotta get!
God Bless &
Take Care
Tabitha-Virginia

"Camano Island's Blessing"
Blessing lives in New York and is a wonderful dog. She has a lot going
for her More to come!.

"Camano Island's Dewie"
Hi Susan: Dewie is my little princess and she knows it, all the other guys
love her too, she really looks up to Gus (the one that looks similar to
her) when I started training her in agility she just followed Gus and was
very comfortable with all the equipment. She is going to be 10 times faster
than him so I have been doing a lot of distance training with her, which
means I can point and she goes. Right now she is beginning to learn to
ride a skate board. Just something fun to do.
...She is doing awesome, she has been in training for agility and is a born champion. My only trouble with her is she is too young to train fast enough, she is like a sponge. You teach her or show her one time and she`s got it.
...Everyone that got pups at the same time I did are jealous, Dewie out
does all of them. Of course they are not Catahoulas. Cheryl-Virginia
Here are a couple more pictures of my little girl. Cheryl

"Camano Island's Fanny"
Fanny is proudly owned by Colleen in New York who has taught Fanny voice
commands in English and German and all Obedience. Colleen researched Catahoulas
for years before buying one from Camano Island Catahoulas...More to come...Colleen-New
York

"Camano Island's Ziggie Stardust"
Hi Susan
I absolutely love this puppy. Everyone who sees
her loves her. Being an old rocker, when I saw her two different colored eyes I
thought of David Bowie and Ziggie Stardust, so I named her Ziggie.
She is such a chow hound and she is so chubby... She is growing so fast...She
does her Agility Class without any expression, but she does it well! She
is excellent in Obedience and I have a little gal taking her to classes.
More later, Sally
Susan
Would be glad to do a testimonial on Ziggie and send recent pictures of
her. Zig is a good dog. See-ya SOON.
Sally-Alaska

Susan,
The puppies aren't really puppies any more! They're turning into great
big wonderful dogs. We're crazy about them. T refer to them as the jugheads,
but they are great. We haven't really started them working with the cattle
yet as the attention span is still a little short, but they love to go
for long walks (they run), jumping in the water troughs or wading in streams,
and generally having fun playing. Trailing desert rats is also a fun game.
Leslie-Oregon
...The pups are terrific! Little leopard pants is a character! Will try and
get photos off to you. Both boys are wonderful dogs. Leslie-Oregon

"Camano Island's Champ"
Hi Susan,
We are really happy with "Champ". Even at his age he takes
hold and is quiet enough to stay when you ask him to. I don't have
pictures. I'd like a digital camera so I could sent them email but
not this year. Norma and Tom-Washington State

"Camano Island's Cajun"
Cajun is proudly owned by Mary S. in Goldbar, WA.
"Cajun is the best dog that I've ever owned" --"Everyone
loves Cajun, he is excellent with other dogs, mellow in the house, protective,
good with farm animals, chickens..." Cajun goes out to his kennel
to sleep and he is so quiet in the morning that sometimes I forget to let
him out of his kennel!" Everyone in the family feels that they "own"
him. We all truly enjoy him. "I promise to send you pictures that
I've taken of him recently -He is a beautiful and loving dog." Mary
S.-Washington
