About Us

Welcome to Camano Island Catahoulas and to the website of Susan and Vince. We have moved to Spokane, WA! We have a gorgeous home and 11.3 acres with more room for our beautiful dogs to run and play.

Susan has been around dogs for most of her life as her family raised dogs."We had German Shepherds for many years and were completely sold on them. We eventually raised Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Rottweilers and thought that these breeds were the best. However, about 15 years ago, my family discovered the Catahoula Leopard Dog and found that they surpassed all of the breeds that we had previously raised in intelligence, versatility, endurance, protection and beauty."

Susan is a NALC Certified Member and a member of the American Catahoula Association. She is dedicated to preserving the Catahoula by selecting Champion and Working Bloodlines in her breeding program and educating prospective buyers. She studied the Catahoula Bloodlines carefully to get very desirable traits.
